Attack! 91 Children of the poor: Bitter and cynical strategy on education and poverty Part 1

Welcome to ATTACK!

ATTACK! is a two-page occasional publication giving attention to the curriculum – the holistic curriculum.screen-shot-2016-12-06-at-1-42-06-pm

ATTACK! is for you, also to introduce to your colleagues. Each issue will be restricted to two pages. A cover graphic for a file or folder to store ATTACK! issues is available.

Most of ATTACK! will be concerned with the holistic curriculum which, if acted on, is a fundamental way to undermine the present undemocratic education system. Don’t be discouraged if opportunities to teach holistically are limited, do your best, be a guardian, and act as a witness to this culturally significant and inspiring way of teaching and learning.

To get in touch for comment, questions, and the ATTACK! issues to be sent to you personally:  ksmythe@wave.co.nz

  1. Vern Stevens says:

Gidday Kelvin, lets hope Jacinda gets to read this before her policy announcement, maybe someone with some influence in Labour has read it previously, because in my opinion your guidance along with Bruce and Lester’s is needed to get things on the right track .
What do you make of English’s on the hoof statement yesterday. Does he realise that the game is up and is trying something from another planet to bring the sheep back or is he just so far removed from reality that he hasn’t got a clue?

  2. George says:

Someone has noted that foreign language idea came from Lockwood Smith 24 years ago!

Oh dear, from an unsafe pair of hands.

It will be another pilot-type scheme – all talk and no money.

  3. Susan says:

Brilliant. My son is a Pediatrician and says poverty and sub standard housing needs to be addressed urgently.
I heard Jacinda yesterday and she said National Standards would be abolished under a Labour led government with her leadership.
